BIDS PROGRAM

The BIDS Program was developed by Hunt-Penta V, a Joint Venture (Hunt-Penta) and M.Y.S. Firm to ensure that the 15% minimum of small local businesses’ subcontracting requirement as dictated by Senate Bill 1 (SB1) is met or exceeded. “BIDS” is an acronym that stands for “Building Inclusion with Diverse & Small,” and its goal is to do only that: Build Inclusion by engaging local Small and Minority, Women, and Veteran-Owned businesses, through opportunities within the Phase III Renovation project.

This Inclusion Program is committed to impacting the local community in a meaningful way, providing local small businesses with not only contracting opportunities, but also educational and mentorship opportunities. It was developed to support local community growth and enforce accountability from all involved parties, ensuring that all attributes required to achieve a successful outcome are fully met.
