About

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) Board of Directors has approved and awarded preconstruction services for the Phase III of the Las Vegas Convention Center District Plan to AECOM Hunt and the PENTA Building Group, who together formed Hunt-Penta V, a Joint Venture (Hunt-Penta).

Both AECOM Hunt and The PENTA Building Group have been major building contributors to the Las Vegas market for more than two decades, with a proven track record of delivering projects on-time and safely. The Hunt-Penta JV has become a leader in CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk) delivery for public projects and renovations, leveraging superior resources and technology within its digital project delivery tools to provide for efficient project execution.

To ensure that Community Engagement and Inclusion are infused in every component of the Phase III LVCC Renovation project, Hunt-Penta partnered with DEI Program Design expert, M.Y.S. Firm, to develop and implement a customized Inclusion Program. Hunt-Penta and M.Y.S. are committed to exceeding the 15% minimum of small local businesses’ subcontracting requirement as dictated by Senate Bill 1(SB1) and dedicated to providing supplemental mentorship and capacity building opportunities at every step.

In addition, Hunt-PENTA, M.Y.S., and all project partners are required to provide their best effort for inclusion in the contracting of construction services of minority-owned (MBE), women-owned (WBE), and veteran-owned (VBE) business enterprises located and operating in Clark County.
